Greek Affairs | Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is a governing board made up of representation from six active fraternities on the NSU campus, including Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Lambda Chi, Phi Sigma Kappa, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Tau Kappa Epsilon.

Interfraternity Council plans and hosts events for NSU fraternities and works with National Panhellenic Council (NPC) and Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) to plan programs for the entire Greek community. These events include Fraternity Recruitment, Greek Week, and all-fraternity social functions and philanthropic activities. It is the Council’s responsibility to ensure the opinions of all fraternities are included in all decisions for campus activities and events.

In addition, the Interfraternity Council governing board provides numerous opportunities for members to become active leaders on campus.

Students,

My name is Bronson Vaughn, president, of the Interfraternity Council (IFC). Now, I understand this title has no meaning to you what so ever, but I would like to tell you about male Greek life at NSU. Going Greek is the greatest decision I have ever made while attending NSU. Brotherhoods, Pledge ship, Functions and Homecoming are just some of the memories that I will take with me when I graduate. The friends that I will never lose touch with, and the leadership skills that I gained have helped me to become a stronger person and have helped me secure the future I want for myself. I got all of this by joining a fraternity. If a great life experience is something you want out of NSU, I encourage you to take the challenge and make the greatest decision of your young adult life by going Greek.
