The arts play an important role in our lives. They bring the community together on the common ground of art. Through your generous support, you enhance our community’s quality of life in many ways:
- You make it possible for disadvantaged children in the community to attend our Learning LIVE! Performance Series. Did you know that children involved in the arts have index scores averaging 20 points higher on measures of creative thinking, fluency, originality, and elaboration? Children involved in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, three times more likely to be elected to class office within their schools, and three times more likely to have higher school attendance.
- You make it possible for disadvantaged individuals in the community to attend our Galaxy of Stars Series.
- You make our community a better place to live and work. Cultural arts events create a sense of kinship and you see that the arts are both educational and entertaining.
- You see your dollars spent creatively and sensibly.
