Description: Northeastern State University invites applications for the full time position of Building Maintenance Mechanic II for the Auxiliary Services Department on the Tahlequah campus.

Responsibilities: The Building Maintenance Mechanic will perform maintenance services including mechanical, carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and electrical appliances and fixtures. This is semi-skilled to skilled work requiring the application of standard trade practices as applied to maintenance and upkeep of facilities.  Work will be performed in the University Center and other structures within the Auxiliary Services Department.

Qualifications: Graduation from a standard high school or approved equivalent and current certificate and/or license in one or more of the following trades required: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and/or masonry.

Experience: A minimum of six (6) years experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings and mechanical equipment required.  Experience may be reduced to three (3) years for individuals holding a current license and/or certificate in one of the above stated fields.
