Description: Northeastern State University is seeking applicants for the full time position of Library Technician III in the Circulation area of the John Vaughan Library at the Tahlequah campus.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will manage the Circulation Unit of the library, as well as all of the student workers who are employed in this unit.  The position requires a practical knowledge of the theories and principals of library science so that they may create, interpret, adapt and verify complicated library records and provide assistance to users. This position will provide a variety of public services to patrons of the library as well as technical services in support of library collections and operations.  The responsibilities of this position include general maintenance of the library collection, the technical processing of library materials, operation of the Library Cafe, and light maintenance of library hardware and software.  Additional responsibilities include extensive patron interaction within the areas of library circulation, reserve, and reference services.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline required.

Experience: Library experience preferred.
