Northeastern State University invites applications for a full time 12-month Instructor of Library Services on the Broken Arrow
campus.
Degree Requirements:
An earned M.L.S. from an Experience:
Professional experience in the field of Education, library instruction, academic reference service, and computer-based resources and services preferred. Experience with automated Interlibrary Loan systems such as ILLIAD preferred. Responsibilities:
This position will represent the library in providing information resource coordination and instructional services to the students and faculty of the College of Education on the Broken Arrow campus. Additional responsibilities include the provision of high quality reference, access, and interlibrary loan services to Library patrons. Salary: Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Application Deadline: Application review is ongoing and will continue until position is filled. The successful applicant will perform general reference duties; serve as liaison with the faculty and students in the NSU College of Education; evaluate and develop the library's print, non-print, and electronic resources in Education and Psychology; provide library instruction; consult with faculty and students; design Web pages; serve on University committees; and provide additional services as needed. This position oversees the NSU-BA Library Interlibrary Loan services, supervising one FTE within the department.
