The Department of Health & Kinesiology at Northeastern State
University invites applications for a full time, tenure-track assistant/associate professor of Health Education. NSU has one of the largest General Education Personal Health course enrollments in the Midwest and supports a BS in Health and Human Performance and a BS Ed in Health and Physical Education. Degree Requirements:
An earned doctorate and CHES certification. The successful applicant will model the tenants of Healthy People 2010. Experience:
At least two years teaching experience and collaboration with K-12 students is preferred. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will serve as Program Director of the General Education offerings, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, chair thesis committees in the health field, advise, and represent the Health and Kinesiology Department on committees on and off campus.

NSU, a regional institution of 9,000 students, has three campuses. NSU's main campus is in Tahlequah, home to the Cherokee Nation; branch campuses are located in Broken Arrow and Muskogee. This position will be based on the Tahlequah campus but may include responsibilities at the other NSU campuses as well.
