Description:
Northeastern State University invites applications for the part -time position of Dispatcher for the Campus Police Department. This position will be subject to call-in and early morning work.
Responsibilities:
This is routine work in the proper answering of a police radio and public telephones. The successful applicant will be responsible for the operation of the police radio, both in dispatching and receiving messages from campus officers and other police agencies, and other proper use of public telephones.
Qualifications:
Graduation from a standard high school or approved equivalent required.
Experience:
Must have excellent phone skills, be able to keep legible notes of patrol activities, and maintain a call log.
Salary: $8.00/hr., 25 - 29 hours per week Beginning Date: Position open until filled. Please Submit a completed *Employment Application Form
