Description:
Northeastern State University invites applications for the full time
position of Plumber III. This position is responsible for the
planning, supervising and assigning of daily work to licensed
journeyman and licensed apprentice plumbers. This is a skilled,
licensed plumbing foreman position. He/she will perform
responsible work, which involves the knowledge of current codes,
planning daily work and the ability to assign jobs to skilled plumbing
personnel. The foreman will be required to inspect job progress,
maintain quality control and work schedules.
Responsibilities:
Specific duties will include the following: Qualifications:
Graduation from a standard high school or approved equivalent required; college a plus.
Experience:
Three years of experience in a supervisory capacity. This
employee must maintain a current State of Oklahoma Plumbing Contractors
license.

* Inspect work and progress daily.
* Recommend the purchase of materials and supplies needed.
* Assign and supervise craftsmen, journeymen, and helpers in the trade work of plumbing..
* Establish standards of workmanship, performance, and materials.
* Enforce quality control.
* Assist supervisor in the designing, planning and specifying of projects.
* Lay out jobs and maintain schedule of work and progress.
* Prepare cost estimates on new jobs and maintains records of actual job costs.
* Assist in performing the necessary maintenance and repair work related to this field of work.
* Assist other trades and crafts as required.
* Perform related work as required.
