Job Location and Development (JLD) Positions
The Job Location and Development (JLD) Program allows area businesses to hire NSU students. Student Financial Services will post job opportunities and assist you in finding the right part-time job. All jobs pay at least minimum wage. You do not have to be on financial aid to qualify for this program.
Job Description: Accounting Clerk - Accounting Clerk - Sophomore / Junior / Senior level accounting student needed for part-time position with local CPA firm. Individual should possess skill with excel and word and be able to work approximately 25 hours per week (Monday-Thursday). Starting wage is $9.75 per hour. Will work around class schedule. Apply in person. Job Description: Auditor- Need two people to join team of auditors in taking inventories at grocery stores. The job is a part-time one, with irregular hours, and is on-going. Experience with a 10-key calculator is preferred. We provide calculators and transportation from Tahlequah to the inventory locations. Our starting wage is $8 per hours, with a minimum wage rate for riding time in our van. We also pay store bonuses for superior work. It is a physical job, with long hours on some days, as we can't leave the store until the inventory is finished. Job Description: Nanny - I'm looking for a college student to nanny for two of my children from 8am-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the 09-10 school year. I would like someone who is warm, caring, reliable and responsible. This person would also need transportation and be able to make a committment for the whole school year (holidays, breaks excluded). The salary is negotiable. We live in south Tulsa. Job Description: Nanny / Babysitter - We are looking for an experienced nanny/babysitter for our 9 year old son. He is going into 4th grade at Eliot Elementary. Needs picked up from school by 2:45 so hours will probably start at 2:30 until 5:30 or so. We will only be needing 4 days during the week (if you are needing 5 days we can probably be flexible with a weekend night or two during the month). A spotless driving record, experience sitting, at least 3 references, college student or under 30 preferred. Also will help our son with homework each day and interact with him, not just lay around house. He'll need someone to take him to sports activities at least once a week as well.
