Specific Requirements for Preparation for Professional Schools

Pre-Physical Therapy

The Pre-Physical Therapy program at NSU is designed for students interested in the Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. A minimum of 90 semester hours is required with a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. A minimum grade of C is required in all courses. Selection of students is competitive and is made on the basis of academic achievement, interview performance, and knowledge of health care services. Applicants must observe a minimum of 40 hours in a physical therapy setting and take the Graduate Record Exam prior to the February 1 application deadline. Early admission is available.
