Make the Transfer Connection

 

Dear NSU Student,

We are looking forward to seeing you on December 10 during your Transfer Connection enrollment session for students attending the Tahlequah or Muskogee campus.  It is going to be a great day full of information and the chance for you to become better acquainted with your new campus home.  This is a very important day so you will want to be prepared.  Here are a few things we want to remind you about so you’ll be ready when you arrive.

  • Registration begins at 1 pm in the Lobby of the University Center (it will not begin before 1 pm, so please don’t arrive too early).
  • Park in the NET lot or the Fitness Center Parking Lot and proceed to the University Center (UC) Lobby for registration.
  • Opening remarks will begin promptly at 1:30 pm.
  • Please plan to stay until 4 pm (you will need to reschedule your visit if you cannot stay until 4 pm).
  • Your NSU photo ID pictures will be taken the day you are here.  For the photo, if you are wearing a hat you will be required to remove it, so be prepared.
  • Parking decals for the Spring 2010 semester will be available for purchase (you’ll need to know your car tag number).

 

Download a parking pass (pdf) that you can use for the day, as well as a campus map.  Also, download a copy of this letter or print and bring it with you (pdf).

The schedule of events for the day will include an overview of pertinent facts regarding your transfer, a meeting with an advisor in your major, you will finalize your schedule, and you will enroll for the Spring 2010 semester.  To assist your new advisor, please bring a copy of your unofficial transcripts and your current schedule.  If you are transferring from out of state, please bring a copy of your college catalog for course descriptions.

On campus there will also be personnel available to answer questions about financial services, residential life, student activities and organizations, and other important aspects of campus life at NSU.
