| The Alumni Association Board | Jolyn Carey-Rose | | Jolyn Carey-Rose earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Mathematics in 1995 and a Master of Science in Education Administration in 2002. While at NSU, Jolyn performed in the River City Revue, was named to the NSU Hall of Fame and was selected the 1995 Jack Kaufman Outstanding Female Senior. She served as Miss Cherokee 1989-90 and was named Miss Indian USA in 1993. Jolyn teaches math at Hulbert High School and has served as the mayor of Hulbert. She is married to John Mark Rose and they reside in Hulbert with their three children.
